[Infographic] How to create your urban garden?
One of the biggest challenges facing companies today is being able to combine high quality and optimal performance with care for the environment and energy saving. In the garden machinery industry, this question is even more important: is it possible to take care of a garden, as effectively as possible, while at the same time considering the environment as well?
We believe so, and we wanted to demonstrate our conviction by launching the STIGA Voltage 80. This launch is part of a larger project: in 2014 we launched the 48V battery and this year we are also launching the 24V battery. These three products are all part of the STIGA Battery Range.
The philosophy behind these products is simple, but for us it is very important and powerful: we want to use the energy of the future today, and we want to do this in such a way that we bring intelligent solutions to all true lovers of gardening. We want to make their work convenient, easy and effective.
Why a battery system? The answers are simple: because you can power several tools with the same battery pack, because you can enjoy the comfort of an electric tool along with the power of a petrol one and because they are comparable to electric tools in terms of noise and vibration.
Our battery range with 3 different power levels satisfies consumers’ working requirements with an affordable range (in terms of price) and a complete set of tools. Furthermore, the range matches the needs of different types of garden. Being battery-powered means:
The Li-Ion Batteries have a long life and a high-quality performance: they are maintenance free and there are no carbon emissions.
The 24V is the perfect choice for a small garden, with or without a lawn, in an area up to 50m2, such as an urban garden. The 48 V is designed for residential gardens, the most common form of domestic garden, with lawn areas up to 400m2. The 80V is perfect for big gardens with a surface area starting from 500m2.
