Fun Fall Container Gardening
Fall is a wonderful time to decorate your patio or balcony and Halloween is quickly becoming one of the most decorated seasons around the world. There are ghosts, goblins, and pumpkins on front stoops everywhere this time of year, and joining in on the fun is easy to do. Using your imagination, you can create fun autumn or Halloween container gardens for your front porch or balcony to delight your neighbors.
Many containers are suited for fall decorating, but finding containers that will enable you to use fall’s most celebrated leaf colors of gold, brown, and orange lends the look of pumpkin spice to all your decorations. Using fall leaves, wreathes, and miniatures add to the delightful fall feel for the containers.
Below are a few items you can use as temporary fall or Halloween garden containers.
In the photos for this post you see my adorable Halloween miniatures trick-or-treating their way across the orange container garden. Full of whimsy, this container garden’s fairy-sized accessories truly add a touch of delight mixed in with ornamental edibles and low growing groundcovers.
Special thanks to the Planters Palette in Winfield, Illinois for their fall fairy garden supplies.
